Dairy Impact Program

Posted

The Dairy Impact Program is KDDC's new program for 2025, taking the place of previous programming, including MILK 4.0, Beef on Dairy Initiative, and Management Plus.
The purpose of the Dairy Impact Program is to provide competitive reimbursement cost share funds for projects that support and improve dairy operations and the dairy industry in Kentucky. Eligibility is open to permitted Kentucky dairy producers.
Project proposals should offer an innovative solution that improves the economic status of an operation. Preferred projects will demonstrate the ability to impact more than one entity or the community broadly, add value to dairy products, stimulate the market, diversify an operation, or benefit the economic status of the farm now and in the future.
Sustained Impact Projects

· Cap: $5,000 per farm
Accelerated Impact Projects
· 50% cost share on allowable costs: technology, equipment, facility improvements, etc.
· Cap: $15,000 per farm
The deadline for submitting applications is April 30, 2025. Producers should receive more information in the mail or can be found at www.kydairy.org. Contact your regional consultant with questions or assistance with the application.
